Tumbaga is an alloy that contains copper and zinc, will not fade over time and it is an affordable alternative to gold. You can expect some tarnish with time when exposed to air and moisture but can be cleaned in the same way as sterling silver. Place some metal cream polisher on the metal part of the jewel and polish with a cloth .
