    OUR STORY

    The idea behind shō-moon was born in 2020 when founder Juliette discovered Reiki's healing power. Having been an avid believer in natural remedies and holistic healing methods for many years, she decided to combine her passion for home interior and aromatherapy to create a beautiful healing candle brand that would spread the power of Reiki and the benefits of aromatherapy. In 2022, she made the jump and left her sales job in a tech firm to launch shō-moon.

    Each element of our candles has been conscientiously curated; our Italian glass jars, with their minimalistic design, add a touch of sophistication to any interior. We only use natural and vegan ingredients, combining pure essential oils with coconut & colza wax to give you the cleanest burn.

    At Shō-moon, we're committed to creating candles that are good for your body and the planet. Each candle is paired with a Reiki-infused guided meditation (in English, French and Dutch), accessible through a QR code under the lid. All candles are hand-poured in our studio in Haarlem, The Netherlands, in small batches to ensure a high-quality final product.
