Natural Deodorant

Often natural deodorant is made with baking soda. Baking soda is great at neutralizing odors, but it can irritate or swell the skin and even the lymph. If you use natural deodorant with baking soda and feel some knots or swelling in your armpit, this may be because your lymph nodes are reacting to the baking soda. That is why we now offer a 100% natural deodorant in our range, but without the aggressive substance baking soda.

Our deodorant is made with shea butter, coconut butter, arrowroot powder and magnesium. It is mainly the magnesium that ensures that odors are neutralized. Arrowroot powder also helps to combat odors and it also gives a dry feeling. The shea butter and coconut butter care for the skin and provide a smooth feeling, even after shaving.

You will notice that this magnesium cream deodorant is much milder than a deodorant with baking soda. All our products are perfume-free, but this "unscented" deodorant variant also contains no essential oils and is therefore suitable for the most sensitive armpits.

How do you best use this Deodorant?

Take a pea-sized amount on your fingertip. Then rub it on your armpit. A can lasts at least 3 months. Keep cool and dry.

OUR STORY

Earth Elements shampoo bars and soap bars are made with love, right here in the Netherlands. The idea of making shampoo and soap in solid form started about 10 years ago with the founder of Earth Elements, Chi Chi Schaul. She was tired of the endless pile of plastic bottles and wanted to use products with natural ingredients. When she couldn't find this in the store, she decided to make the bars herself. Eventually, this grew organically into a company. Today she is still the one who makes the vegan shampoo bars and soap bars here, in small batches, from natural ingredients. She keeps the list of ingredients as small as possible and keeps out unnecessary chemical substances. Her shampoo bars and soap bars are vegan, which means that the bars contain no ingredients from animals. The shampoo bars and soap bars are natural, which means that we use natural clays for colour and essential oils for scent. The bars are made, cut and packaged by hand in small batches. The packaging and labels are made from recycled cardboard and paper. And this is all happening, right here in the Netherlands!
